I have this same problem with my truck. The U haul guys and I tried and tested every scenario, leaving out hard wiring behind the plug (where the adapter goes). I haven't tried it as I don't ever pull anything, however it can't to too hard to do.

Tail and marker lights not working on trailer circuit, stop and turn signals work fine, 2004 gmc sierra 2500 hd

I would try hooking the trailer up to another vehicle and see if everything works right if everything works on the trailer I would start testing the trailer plug on your truck could be a wire has broken.

My tail lights don't work but my turn signals and brake lights work. when i hook up to my trailer and turn the lights on all the trailer lights work but still no truck tail lights

the tail lights are the same bulb but they use a different filament in the bulb.you may need to replace the bulbs.another possibility is there maybe a problem with the wiring for the tail lights between the socket and the area where the trailer wiring is connected to the truck wiring.try the bulbs first, you just have to try one first to see it it works or not then you will know what to do next.

Can't get the lights on camper to work when I turn on a signal light both tail lights on camper flash thats the only lights that work . I drive a 2004 silverado

if they camper was wired for an older/other make of truck it might be different check to see if the yellow(left side turn/brake) wire maybe connected or crossed with the green(right turn/brake) wire, also see if the plug in wiring under the rear bumper is a stock plug in or if some one tried to go cheap and use"scotch-locks" on the tail light wires and crossed something under there, the parts store sells a plug in tester for your truck's particular plug that will tell you if the truck has the issue or if it's the camper, also check the ground, hope this helps, and good luck

Check movement of vent doors on that side. Sounds like they aren't moving over as they should. (Or hose fell off on passenger side.)

2500 hd duramax crew cab 4 WD pulls right. Both

First try rotating the tires to the rear. Does it go away? If you apply the brakes does it pull to the left? Could be a draging caliper or the slides may be hanging up.

2007 Frontier with trailer lights problem

Most likely it is the relay which is built into the turn switch. Turn switch will have to be replaced. It is also good idea to replace the flasher as well. Make sure both bulbs are new.
