There is a drain for rain water and the A/C. put it up on a lift and run a long pipe cleaner in and out of it. they get plugged and this will not be a new procedure to the shop where you take it. you could do this at the same place that changes your oil as they will be under it anyway.

Leaking water

Before spending $800 for a might fix it, I would either tape it shut or seal it shut with silicone sealent. Tape might damage the paint, so be aware of this. Personally I would seal it with silicone, it can always be removes although it is a pain in the rear end. After sealing wait for the next rain and look for leaks. You could pull the headliner out and then run a water hose over the roof and look for a leak as well. A body shop will probably be cheaper to repair it than the dealer. Dealers generally charge around $100/hr for labor. Body shops charge around $65.hr.

i am gonna take a stab at this...open the door and listen for water sloshing in the base of the door..then look under the door for a hole and see if its plugged up.. sounds like the door is full of water from the weather.. rain or being parked near some sprinkler system somewhere..good luck..

Water collecting under the glove box - how do i get it out?

you will have to remove the glove box to access where the water is collecting. there is not really anything hot inside the dash what you are hearing is wiring starting to fry. you must find and seal this leak or you will find yourself on the side of the road roasting marshmallows over a Mitsubishi fire

1996 Chryslser Sebring Convertible leaks on left side from rain

Water goes between the front and rear window and is supposed to go through a trough and drain out of the bottom of the car. often the drains along the bottom (4 very small slits) get clogged and water will back up into the floorboards. just drive a flat head screwdriver in these slits and it will let the water out! (watch out about 2 gallons came out of mine!)

Whenever it rains, water ends up on my drivers side floor board. It also seems to short out my fuel pump, and keep my truck from firing. 1999 F150 Extended Cab, V8 5.4 330 cubic inches

Leak around the windshield.Have seen alot of these. If you have access to an air compressor it is pretty easy to find the leak just spray some foam window cleaner around the outside of the windshield and the hit it with air on the inside. It will blow the foam when you hit the leak. You will most likely have to have the windshield cut out and resealed and unfortunately half the time they crack when doing this.
