This problem has been going on for a few months getting progressively worse. At first the stereo would come on buy itself when the car was shut off. To keep from draining the battery too much I would manually shut the radio off. With this done the stereo would light up, but the audio remain off. Now, the stereo is automattically coming back on and switching to the auxilary setting on the stereo. Is it possible I caused a problem with the stereo and loosened something when I hooked up the auxilary cable? Is it possible the stereo fuse could be shorting out? Please advise what I can do to fix this problem by myself if possible.

2002 Lincoln LSE 3.9L 124,000 MI. stalls after a stop or hard braking.

Hi.
This may be a "sticky injector"

This would cause overfuelling - and a sudden rise in RPM. The ECU will see this and compensate - by shutting the injectors down lower - , which then stalls the vehicle.

Worth a try runnig cleaner through them.

I have a 2003 saturn vue 4 cyl. My security light has started to come on for only a few seconds when I put the car in gear and now is beginning to come on for a few seconds when I put it in park and goes...

When the security light comes on, it means that the Antitheft system is most likely begining to fail. It will start very intermittently amd progressively get worse until it either shuts down the car, or your car will refuse to start when that light is on. This link explains

Key sticks in ignition and won't turn

here is what u need to do, go to a local locksmith, hardware store or auto parts store and buy a tube of powdered Graphite lock cylinder lube, spray a little into the ignition lock cylinder and insert the key a few time, apply again and this should cure the problem, if it doesn't u will need to have the igntion lock cylinder replaced, do not use anything other then lock cylinder dry lubricant, WD40 or other oily lubes will make matter worse in the ong run.
