The camsensor on a 2003 KiaRio is located on the front, driver's side of the engine, Should be the same on the 2004 ki8a reo's. God-Bless! This is for the 1.6,
did u check the main fuse ($5 or so) it is the big one in panel next to the battery, that goes to the starter if it is gone replace need a 8mm or 10 mm deep socket to take it out. if it happends again u most likey needs another starter. that is what i had to do with my 2003 kia reo. hope this helps.
Did you recheck the engine valve timing (Timing Belt) after you finished? If so check it again. Timing has to be set on #1 top dead center. You probably know this if you did the head gasket.
