Eletrical problem. i was puggin in a new head unit and my dashboard lights wont work for the ganges also my tail lights wont work and the radio will not work either. what would cause this

You hooked one of your wires to the wire that runs the illumination lights on the factory radio. Then it blew the parking light fuse. Check the fuse and your radio connections.

Dashboard lights won't come on

Most often the tail lights and dash lights share a single feed and fuse.
Assuming you have checked the fuses (probably marked as tail or courtesy)
If you have good fuse and the head light gives a voltage out while in the 'parking light' position (usually between off and headlights) then you need to start chasing wiring.
