It sure sounds like a fuse may have blown, although the cigarette lighter fuse in most cars does not control the radio, and should have been able to handle the car charger without blowing. Take the lid off the fuse box, either under the hood or inside the car under the dash on the right side or left side of the car, and look for a blown fuse. Usually you can tell if they are blown by looking at them.....but you often have to remove them first, depending on the type of fuse used in your car. The inside of the lid may have a chart that shows which fuse controls the radio.
Good luck,

Pretty common on an acura.Have you tried the aux.outlet? There is two..... BUT 99% of the time you find its a a cheap car charger that causes circuit to blow...
My mdx (i have 2005) has 3 seperate fuse locations. under dash driver and passenger side (2) and under the hood passenger side (1). after an hour plus of frustration i finally found the easily identifiable blown fuse and replaced it.
I did repair my Acura MDX 2003 but not working cigarette lighter and fuse blowing for five time. I give up repair. I am stuck.
This is due to a blown fuse, check all the fuses and you will find a blown fuse, mostlikely in the engine compartment fuse box, may be label acc fuse or cig lighter fuse, check all fuse because its not like the older cars the fuses are labeled sometimes nonspecific. hope this helps ,
