If it is white/blue smoke it is oil and if it only happens on start up after the vehicle has been parked for a while it is the valve guide seals that are leaking, allowing oil to seep onto the valves and into the cylinders. The seals will have to be replaced and they are under the tappet cover on top of the engine. This condition should also cause a puff of smoke to come out of the exhaust when you take your foot off the accelerator to run against compression.

Sounds like white smoke is antifreeze. It might be leaking all of the time. Does your antifreeze level fall gradually over a week's time?

It could be leaking through the head gasket.

White smoke out of exhaust

Does it smoke all the time or just when you accelerate? If it smokes all the time, the piston rings are worn. If it smokes when you accelerate and diminishes then the valve stem seals are worn. Either way, the engine will have to come out to fix it.

White smoke coming out of my 2005 bmw 320i e90, it mostly happens like a big cloud when on hills and only little on flat surfaces, mechanics can't seem to diagnose it nor I dunno if their being oblivious...

This could be two problems occuring, 1. Head Gasket leaking intermitantly (ie) Replace Head Gasket & skim head. 2. Replace the oil separation Valve or also known as Crank Case ventilation Valve.
This valve opens & closes, can be glued shut with carbon build up. Then when engine comes under load & elevated the oil from crank vent pipe can't escape but events in burning of as white smoke.

After smog pump reinstallment, car wont crank

If car cranked but white smoke came out of the tailpipe. The car may have either a bad head gasket or a cracked cylinder head. You mentioned changeing the radiator.Did the car overheat severely? This would stress the headgasket. The car may not start now because the plugs are wet(water)or the rings have lost their ability to seal compression due to overheating.

White smoke coming from exhaust car running fine no overheating where is white smoke coming from and or there a quick fix

White smokee is normally a sign of coolant getting into a combustion chamber, due to a head gasket, leaking intake, or a crack in either. Check your coolant level! Running it with this problem will destroy your engine. I would get it pressure tested.

white smoke is an indication of a leaking headgasket. if this is the case the coolant could have fouled out the plugs

Changed spark plugs in 97 buick lasabre and now it cranks and runs, but white smoke coming out. Is that blown head gaskets? Does it have anything to do with the fuel pump my mechanic put on 3 weeks ago???

You need to check the oil with the dipstick (wipe in down a few times) to see if it looks like a chockalate milk shake. If coolent has made its way into the oil you have blown head gasket. The fuel pump which is usually in the gas tank in most gm vehicles would not cause white smoke, if it failed you car would not start because your engine would not get any gas to the injectors
