I had the heater and defroster on this morning. I stopped for gas and stopped the engine. When I started the car again the fan and defroster suddenly stopped and the heater, fan, nor defroster would come on again. Some have said this is a fuse or blower problem. You can take a look at your fuses and see if your fuse is burnt out or if that not the case and the fuses are fine then it sound like blower motor is shot.

Sounds like one of the fancy heaters. They have circuit boards that can go bad. don-ohio

My fan stopped blowing too!! I was worried that my compressor had went out. The mechanic said that the blower had burned out and he charged me 169.00 for the part and 50.00 for labor.
