Check the blower motor fuse, then you can turn truck on put the speed control to high. if fuse is blown replace fuse, if the speed control only works on high, the blower motor resistor needs replacing. It is on passenger side under glove box in close proximity to the blower motor. The fuse is under the hood on driver side. the cover should say fuses/relay on the top of cover, on most ford vehicles you will need to look in the owners manual for the position of the fuse.

Heater not working at all

The morning commute can be stressful.
But if your car heater starts blowing cold air and suddenly stops working in the middle of winter, it can make it downright miserable.
If your car has no heat, not only would the inside of your car feel like an ice box, but a broken heater can prevent your defroster from blowing warm air to your windshield to eliminate ice and fog, which can pose a hazard while driving. Not having a working heater in your vehicle could even become a dire situation, if you end up stranded.

Why is my car heating not working?

K car heater can stop working for a number of reasons, including:
• A low antifreeze/water level in the radiator due to a leak in the cooling system.
• A bad thermostat that isn't allowing the engine to properly warm up.
• A blower fan that isn't working properly.
• Coolant that contains rust particles or becomes otherwise contaminated and is blocking the heating core from circulating air into the cabin properly

Cost to fix a car heater

Most heating-related repairs range from $300 to $1,000,, but it's difficult to pinpoint an exact number because of the variety of problems that exist.
A decrease in the coolant level or a leak in the coolant system is one of the more common problems,
"Topping it off may help in the short term, but it's an indication of a deeper problem and should be checked out," "You shouldn't have to add anything at all if everything is working well. It can damage the motor if there is low heat [from too little coolant]."
leaks could be as simple as a loose hose clamp, or a major problem like a leaking engine cylinder head gasket, which can cause serious damage to the engine and cost several hundred dollars to replace.

AC/Heater blower fan stops blowing air into the cabin when I accelerate.

Usually a vac leak. I would check for a leak in the HVAC control system and the line thru the firewall to the engine.

The fan motor does not always work on a/c or defrost or just regular fan, there are no speeds at all. Then all the sudden it will start working again. Where do I start to look

See if the issue goes away when at full speed setting. (high) If yes, there is a heater motor resistor behind the glove box door. It has a wiring harness plugged into it, and is removable from the heater box. These fail commonly.

The blower fan stopped working this morning. No

You can take a look at your fuses and see if your fuse is burnt out or if that not the case and the fuses are fine then it sound like blower motor is shot.

AC/fan suddenly stops and dinging gas gauge

My fan stopped blowing too!! I was worried that my compressor had went out. The mechanic said that the blower had burned out and he charged me 169.00 for the part and 50.00 for labor.

I have a 2004 Pacifica with 58K miles.
