You need a new window regulator. I have replaced both front passenger and driver. Not hard takes 30 mins. Best deal is at automotix.net or a salvage yard.

2011 Toyota 4 runner Passenger power window quit

If it's the only window that isn't working it has nothing to do with the fuses. You do not have a separate fuse for each window. If the power window fuse was removed and not placed back into the correct slot, all of your windows would not work. I would start at the window switch and see if you have power to the switch, then move on down the circuit to find the issue. If you end up with the motor getting power when you activate the switch, but nothing happens replace the motor.

2002 GMC yukon xl denali back window went down by itself and won't go back up

Good guess... take the inner door panel off and check to see if there is an obstruction in the door track first. Buy a simple (cheap) multimeter that has mA, Ohms, and both DC and AC volts on it for use around the home too. Put it on the DC Volts scale t read 12 Volts and turn on the switch and watch the needle of digital display. If it doesn't move then your switch is bad. If it does move, unplug the motor connector and check the voltage there too. If there is voltage and the motor isn't working, you have a bad motor. IF, your window uses a cable actuator system with the motor, buy the complete assembly (motor and actuator pre-assembled as a unit), and replace it. If it uses a mechanical scissor system, replacing just the motor only will be effective. Switches are easy to replace.

The rear passenger side window recently stopped working. i used the key to roll down all windows and all worked properly. i then rolled them all back up using the key and they all went up smoothly and at...

FIRST YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE REAR PASSENGER INTERIOR DOOR COVER TO GET TO THE WINDOW MOTOR. ONCE REMOVED LOOK TO SEE IF THE WIRE IS STILL CONNECTED TO THE MOTOR. IF IT IS, DISCONNECT THE WIRE. ***IF YOU HAVE A MULTIMETER(OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES) WITH THE IGNITION SET TO AUX, OR ON IT DOESNT MATER, TEST THE POWER COMING FROM THE WIRE. IF IT READS 9.5-12+V, THE POWER IS GETTING TO THE WINDOW MOTOR AND STOPPING, YOU NEED A NEW MOTOR. IF THERE IS NO POWER COMING FROM THE WIRE, YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO A SHOP. IT IS NOT A FUSE SINCE ALL THE WINDOWS RUN OFF THE SAME FUSE AND RELAY.

**IF NO MULTIMETER IS AVALIBLE, TAKE A 12V POWER SOURCE (CAR BATTERY) AND RUN THE POWER DIRECTLY FROM THE BATTERY TO THE WINDOW MOTOR. IF THE MOTOR RUNS, BAD WIREING. IF THE MOTOR DOES NOT RUN, BAD MOTOR.

All windows but drivers won't go up or down 2001 GMC yukon

If they sound like they are trying to do something it's not the lock out switch . But to be sure pulling out the switch an testing for B+ voltage to and from the switch . Plus pull the other door switches to see if they have B+ voltage and good grounds would be the thing to do.. If you don't know how to check automotive electrical circuits your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop .
Passenger Power Window Operation
The passenger power window switches incorporate window up and down relays. The relay coil feed and supply sides are powered through the RAP fuse supply voltage circuit. The normally closed contacts of each relay is connected to ground. The load side of each of the relays are connected to either side of the power window motor through the power window up and down circuits. The up and down relay control circuits are connected to the normally closed contacts of the passenger window switch. These contacts are wired in series with the power window master switch, through the power window master switch up and down signal circuits and then to ground when the power window master is placed in the up or down position. This allows for the up and down operation of the passenger power window from the power window master switch. The center pole of the passenger power window switch is also connected to ground and will energize the relay when placed in the up or down position.

Driver Power Window Operation
The driver power window is unique from the passenger power windows in that it does not use window up and down relays. The driver power window is operated directly from the power window switch.
The normally closed contacts of the switch are connected to ground and the center pole is connected to the RAP fuse supply voltage circuit. By placing the left power window switch in the down position, voltage is applied to the power window motor left front down circuit and to the power window motor. The other side of the power window motor is connected to ground through the normally closed contacts of the left power window switch through the power window motor left front up circuit and drives the window down.
By placing the left power window switch in the up position the polarity of the motor is reversed and the motor drives the window up.

Has circuit breaker for B+ power
• PWR WDO CB 25A (fuse block) (System power for left and right windows 2-door vehicles. System power for LF and LR windows 4-door vehicles)
• PWR WDO CB 25A (IP wiring harness junction block) (System power for RF and RR windows 4-door vehicles)

Could be passenger door switch .

Passenger Window Stuck all the way Down

Try switching the power window switch from the passenger side to the drivers side. Before you do that try with the switch on the up position, wiggle it from side to side. The contacts may be worn and by wiggling it may make contact. Other then that try to park it in side or garbage bag taped to keep rain out till you get it to the shop.
Hint, take it to a Auto window repair shop to replace the switch if it's bad or if the motor is bad. They have more experience to removing the door panels and removing the power window regulator (motor) if that needs to be replaced.
Good luck and hope this helps.

2000 GMC Jimmy SLE driver's power window

The same thing happened to my 1999 JMC Jimmy recently. I believe the problem is that your power window motor has most likely gone out or is starting to go out. The motor will need replaced. They are pretty expensive new. I went to a junkyard and got one for around 15 dollars. When mine went bad, I had rolled my window down about three or four inches and it stuck there. I took my door panel off and tapped on the motor while holding up on the window switch and got it to go up after a few minutes. I am replacing my motor today, I'll leave an update here about the outcome when I finish the job. I hope this information helps you.
