I have a 2005 sonata There is a pin on the inside of the driver's side door - covered with a black piece of rubber - We built up a layer of 2 to 4 pieces of duct tape on the swinging door to hold the pin tigher - every now and then you need to replace the duct tape -and just to everyone else - it was ringing with the seat belt on while driving sometimes - for hours!! I took it to the dealer and they had only a temporary solution - the bell will still ring when you leave the keys in the car by accident and if you don't put your seat belt on!
Sounds like the door chimer might be defective, i would get another and install it and then see what happens.
Answer the door.. lol..pull plug on the door bell....unscrew the ringer and remove the wiring from the door bell...the door bell switch is stuck.
SOURCE: Car door bell won't stop ringing.
is there any type of check engine light on or any type of warning light is the sound of the bell the same bell sound when you open your door or seatbelt warning
Sound like one of the door jamb switches is bad. Try taking a pencil or screw driver and pushing in on each door switch. Push the switch beyond the "flush" point to see if the switch is just not fully closing.
