Looking under the hood, there is a black box on the right with 6 or 8 torx head screws. You will need (I think)T-25 Torx bit and atleast a 6" extension. It still needs to be finnagled out after being unscrewed. It's not too difficult of a task, but may take 20mins or so if you've never done it before.

What you should do is deep vacume the system and then put 2.32 or between 25-35 PSI freon for best results.

How do you change the front parking light (inside the headlight bezel) on a 2008 GMC Acadia?
I believe you will need to open hood. At the top of the headlamp will be a small bar used as a pin to hold the headlamp assembly. Slightly turn and pull out. Be sure to hold the headlight as it may just fall out. Once you move headlight to side you should have easy access to parking break.
