Speedometer get speed signal from ABS. ABS and DSC are two functionality in same ECU.
You shall read faults from ABS/DSC ECU.
Most frequently, there are problems with speed sensors on wheels.
With ignition on, you shall measure voltage on both wires (- pole of voltmeter shall be connected on vehicle ground). You will see one sensor without voltage supply. This will sensor with problem. you can, for check, change sensors on same axle (left and right).
Switch ignition off, and on.
If voltage supply missing will go on another side (with faulty sensor), you will be sure that is problem is sensor.

I have a 2009 jagur & dsc light keep coming on. Once i drive it for a little while it blink off & on. Can u tell me what does this means

if no fault codes try re-program (re-load) the ABS unit configuration and the DSC light will operate normally. you probably need to take it to a jag dealership though.

I have a 2004 Jag s type w/ 45k miles. Last night I got all the system lights and "transmission fault, parkbrake fault and dsc not available." Got home, turned it off, restarted after 1 minute, restarted...

First thing to do is get the battery checked and replaced if necessary. If the problem continues, it will be necessary to have a pro-shop check the fault codes (go to a Jag specialst, not a dealer)

Traction Warning Light & ABS light on.

one of your wheel sensors are bad. if you go to napa they will let you use a code reader for free and that will tell you which wheel it is and you can replace that sensor. they are kinda expensive @ around 100 bucks a piece.

ABS Light comes on and then Check engine light. Speedometer also isn't working

Does it give you a vss (vehicle speed sensor) code.If your vss is bad it will affect both the ABS and the speedometer.

Jaguar dsc fault

DSC is your dynamic stability control, you probably went over something really hard and caused a fault, this is a normal response. If the fault stays on disconnect the battery and leave for five mins then reconnect, if you still have the same robelem your DSC module is faulty, it is located on the rear axel it is a block with an arm connected to the axel mid way on the axel.
Has nothing to do with yor abs the juddering was probably you driving over something which triggered the fault.
hope this helps

ABS light permanantly ON. recommend replace ABS module $$$$$$$$$$

I would go with the ABS module, if the shop is wrong make them fix what the real problem is for free, is this a Jag dealer?

Jaguar x-type 2002 2.5L

Hi,
Check carefully ant wiring loom you may have moved to replace the shaft.

As you were only working on mechanical items, and just moving electrical systems, it is almost certainly a break in the loom or a faulty connector in that area. You may need to unwrap the loom a bit.

Hope this solves it for you.
Thanks for using Fixya!
