Most probably a gas cap problem-check if it is tight, is so, consider getting another (less than $10)

I have already replaced the gas cap with a new factory OEM cap. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

there is some sort of leak in the evaporative emission system, if not the gas cap the hoses from the tank to the evaporator canister or the purge valve is defective-visually inspect hoses under the hood and if you can get under the vehicle, check the hoses coming off the fuel filler tube-

Code p0455 2006 chevy impala

That code is for a large EVAP leak. The first thing I would suspect is a bad EVAP vent solenoid. You should be able to find it up under the car behind the drivers rear wheel. Remove it from the vehicle. use jumper wires to supply power and ground to the solenoid. You should hear a definite click and you should not be able to blow through it. If you do not hear a click and you can blow through it replace it.

Engine light code P0455

What does that mean? This indicates a fuel vapor leak or lack of purge flow in the EVAP control system. It means a large leak has been detected. The (EVAP) emission control system prevents the escape of fuel vapors from a vehicle's fuel
system. Fuel vapors are routed by hoses to a charcoal canister for storage. Later, when the engine is running a purge control valve opens allowing intake vacuum to siphon the fuel vapors into the engine.

Symptoms You likely won't notice any drivability problems.
