I have a troble code p0715 that indicates a problem with input/turbine speed sensor on a 2001 4x4 ford expedition with the 4.6L v8 and the 4w100 transmition. I have the part but am un able to locate the sensor.

P07xx is transmission error specific
rpm MEANS ( GAUGE OR ENGINE RPM OR BOTH DO THAT)
MATTERS HUGE.
SURE IT SHIFTS WRONG AFTER ALL THE TCM BRAIN IS BEING LIED TO.!!! ,,,,, 100% expected.
so no other DTC stored or shows up in Pending (a button)

to work on any car your self we first must know 2 things
what engine is there (size) and what transmission is there.
in fact they match up, by engine max torque spec.
also tell your country and cars are not the same all over earth
NOT!
the shop manual (real) states P0715 is fix first DTC error and is true,
from the list. of all those.

there it is, replace it, if still fails ,do all transmission tests in the shop manual
this is the main pump cover and I think what this is
is pump speed, or TC input speed to box,
even the wire fell off or is rusty or looks bad.?????? looking is first.
