I have 2009 Pontiac Vibe. I noticed today a light on in the dash that looks like a little speedometer with an arrow/line pointing downwards...I don't know what this means and can't find anything about it online.

That would be an indication of an intermittent connection or a crack in the circuit board

Let the battery charge a little bit with the jumper cables left on the battery. Give it 20 minutes or so and them try to start.

The exact same thing has just happened to my 2009 Vibe. It has 44,000 kms on it. We'll be getting it looked at in a few days. Did you ever get this resolved?

there is a side switch on the dome light it has 3 positions
OFF
DOOR
ON
make sure it is on the DOOR
not sure about the Vibe but most GM cars if you turn the dash light dimmer switch to far it will put on the dome light also
if both the switch and the dimmer are ok
then you have a short some were in that circuit
depending on the mileage it should still be under warranty

It should be letting you know that you have a tire pressure problem. If you still have the owners manual read it. It will explain what to do, what to look for and how to reset the light if need be.

Manual Trans? Maybe a upshift light? When does it come on?

for more safe u need to take ur car for a delar or garage but it cuold be leak from the fuel tank or maybe from the evap system
