Absolutely not

You don't add anything like that
to any automatic

I used to own a trans repair shop

You only use the correct fluid

If you have shift issues and I know
you do,you change the solenoid
pressure control pack,after you
change the fluid 3 or 4 times.

Change ---never flush

The ONLY THING- EVER to enter a
trans would be RED Lubgard,by
International Lubricants,avail at parts store.

You MUST,ALWAYS change trans and power
steering fluids every 30,000 miles on ALL
your vehicles, you NEVER go over 3 years

I have a 2004 LS V8

Manual for 2004 lincoln ls

first locate the dip stick for the transmission under the hood, after that start car and let run for 1 min,( car has to be running to check transmission) pull dip stick out and wipe it off the stick it back in and check the level again, if it is low you will have to pour the trans. fluid in thru the dip stick hole, add a little at a time and continue to check fluid level until it reachs fill mark on dip stick also the do not make a manuel for the Lincoln LS you can order a disk from Helminc.com that covers all related thigns for this car I had to order one for my LS good luck

My transmission is slipping on my 2001 lincoln ls how do i add transmission fluid

If you have no leaks, get under it & check it over

Then you have a bad Pressure Control Solenoid Pack
inside the trans pan, common on an LS

IF,I repeat IF,it is has been slipping at all & you drove
it at all,even a couple of days,your done,the trans
will have to come out.

I have an LS & also once own a trans repair shop

Now I fill mine from a 3/8" Allen Plug on the rear extension
housing

The factory way is to remove the 1/8" pipe plug in the center
of the trans pan oil drain plug

Either way you have to have a special container for the fluid
& compressed air to blow it in there.

How do you add transmission fluid to a sealed transmission, 2002 lincoln LS

the transmission is sealed so you shouldn't have to add fluid unless there is a leak find the leak first to add fluid there is a bolt on the right side of the trany i think that's where you add the fluid but you will have to use a pump because of the angle.

Is there a filter in lincoln LS 2000 automatic transmission? I had transmission service - drain and fill - done at local Lincoln dealer and service manager told me there is a non serviceable filter in the...

Ford has been using a brass screen filter for a long time. It's not non-servicible but is easily removed and washed off which is likely what they did. Generally if the filter becomes plugged up it is from debris caused by a failure, at which time a rebuild is necessary and filter change would not cure anything
Hope this helps!.
