Sounds like he switch or mix up the firing order. The plug wires need to fire in a certain order.
If the #1 wire is not on the right plug it won't start up it will just turn the motor.
You can go on line and look up the firing sequence or go to the library and you might fine in there.
If one is wrong than that means 2 or more are wrong.
Hope this helps you. Good luck.

Most likely, if the car was running without misfiring before the tune-up, the spark plug wires are "crossed up" and are in conflict with the proper firing order.

If the engine was misfiring before the tune-up; check for a sticking EGR valve, incorrect ignition timing, vacuum leaks, and low cylinder compression. Also check the injectors to see if they are operating, and if injectors were replaced--check that the new o-rings were the proper size. Leaking o-rings will cause a loss of compression and a misfire.

If your car is miss firing and your husband changed the coil packs, the wires leading from coil packs to sparkplugs must have got crossed. This will change car timing which will result in the car miss firing. He needs to go over wiring and correct problem for car to run right. You can go online to autozone.com and type in Info about car to get the correct wiring layout.Your problem isnt the new plugs n wires. Its the wiring layout.

Once car warms up it begins to miss, as soon as i take my foot off the gas it dies and will not start it turns over but wont fire. now once the car cools down it starts and runs fine until it warms up...

sounds like a typical ignition coil break down. when they go bad they act up when they get hot. very easy to replace. it is what the plug wires come from.

2002 dodge ram wont fire when damp outside. misses while trying to start it. acts like something needs to get dried out before it will fire. could it have a slight crack in the distributer?

Yes!! I would do a complete tune up to solve the problem. Your ignition wires are probably not doing well either. Temp fix is to take off the cap and spray it out with DW30 or a moisture displacing spray lube/penetrant.
