You are suppose to drive the car for about 750-1000 miles to let the clutch sit in properly..Sounds to me like you didn't and abused the clutch beforehand... To my knowledge, there's no fixing that unless the clutch comes out.. Safe to say you're O.K... Just get used to it..Sorry..

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This sensor detects the rotation speed of the input turbine. By comparing the input turbine speed signal (NT) and the counter gear speed sensor signal (NC), the ECM detects the shift timing of the gears and appropriately controls the engine torque and hydraulic pressure in response to various conditions, thus performing smooth gear shifting.

I recently purchased a used Toyota Echo 2001 with 61,000 miles on it. It runs great around town, but at speeds over 60 the fronmt end shakes, especially once I press on the gas. What could be causing this?

The first thing that needs to be done when experiencing shaking at certain speeds is have the wheels balanced.

This is a simple procedure that any repair shop should be able to do for a reasonable price.

Try that and check back if the problem continues.

Good luck.

Takes forever to fuel up

I have found with various cars that the speed the gas is pumped at makes a huge difference. Try wiggling the input nozzle around so it may be parallel to the ground, and just experiment. Or just slow down your pumping speed. Sometimes more goes in faster than the fuel tank neck can handle.

2000 Toyota Clutch replacement

Whenever you have additional floor mats in the vehicle, the clutch pedal does not go to the floor. This, in turn, prevents the clutch release mechanism from releasing the clutch disc fully from the flywheel. This causes premature clutch disc wear. I would agree that you need a clutch replacement.
The replacement is pretty straight forward, as long as your guy has the ability to support & hold the engine assembly while the transmission is removed.
No big mysteries on the clutch replacement.
