Hello matilda,

im not sure if the reason is the leaded gasoline that you put, but if you want to replace the gasoline in the tank, you can trace if there is a drain bolt under the tank then drain the gas in the tank. be safety consious since your handling flamamble liquids. then if you can trace your fuel line that goes to the engine, you can flush that too with air. then when your sure that the tank is empty and the lines are clean, you can fill it up with your correct unleaded gas and have a good battery ready and crank your engine until the new gas is in the engine already and i hope it would start now.

i hope i was able to help you.

pls rate me..

tnx

I have a 1999 Volkswagen Microbus Exclusive 2.6I which runs on leaded petrol. Two months ago we filled the tank inadvertently with unleaded petrol. Now the vehicle jers in second gear. Has this got to

easy to check. look under the vehicle close to the manifold and if you see an oval shaped stainless steel containerther you most likely will have a c/c. next point if you use leaded in a unleaded vehicle it will affect the catalytic converter buy causing it to block up.next the oxygen senson may be contaminated and not sending the right readings to the cpu so the engine management system will be affected. Best have it checked at a dealer before you do any more damage.

I have a Isuzu D/C 4x4 KB 260 1997 Do I use unleaded or leaded petrol

I am assuming since you posted this question you are not US based where leaded petrol has been phased out since late 70's. The Isuzu KB260 truck was manufactured to use Unleaded petrol. Lead was added to be a lubricant in older engines that were hand machined in factories LONG ago... the valves and all werent as close in tolerance and the lead in teh gas helped keep them in shape. Newer engines, such as your Isuzu, utilize computer machining during assembly and the tolerances are more precise....so the lead is not required. Be sure and use Unleaded in your vehicle.

I have a 1995 dodge dakota v6 sport truck that starts skipping when it gets to a half or a quarter tank of gas?

Hi There. Let's see if we can help. If truck runs normally after filling the tank, next time it acts up and you add fuel, record how much fuel you added. You then need to determine how many gallons your tank holds. A quick phone call to your local Dodge dealers parts dept with the VIN number will usually get you that info. Next, refering back to your notes, if you have a 20 gallon tank, it acted up at 1/4 full, then you should have added approx 15 gallons! This simple test verifies that the fuel gauge is reporting fuel level correctly. If it is, then there is most probably an issue with the fuel pick-up tube or fuel pump strainer in the tank not extending to the bottom of the tank. Inspect the exterior bottom of the tank. Are there indications of damage to outside bottom of tank? Is it pushed up or deformed? Fuel tanks, especially on pickups, are prone to damage from running over something. If no visible damage is apparent, have you had the fuel pump replaced or did the problem arise after the fuel pump assembly was replaced?. Summary: If fuel gauge reads right and no visible damage to tank is apparent, then the tank needs to come down for removal and inspection of the fuel pump module. Good Luck!

Hi, I have a M reg(95) ford escort azura car and it's running very sluggish, like having trouble picking up speed,i've changed all the spark plugs and the leads, i think it may be do with the petrol...

The easiest way to find fuel filters is to start at the petrol tank and work forwards some put them just infront of the petrol tank others are just befor the engine bay you should be able to follow you fuel lines from either end and it should be about 1.5 feet from motor or just after tank
