The interior fan most often does not come on by itself. You have to jolt the car by slamming the passenger door or driving on a washboard road. Is this caused by a mercury switch I can replace myself?

my blower would stick sometimes after it rained and would let off a loud straining winding sound like rusty sounding until it picked up speed. then would sound loud intermittenly. also, speeds 1 and 5 didn't work. now none of it works. i do get a vent coming thru but not from the blower. thanks for your help.

I had my blower motor control module replaced, on my 2005, and after about a year, the car has begun to leak water into the interior, dripping onto the passenger side floor, from the area of the heater box. (No, it;s not the heater core, it's just rain water. As of Sunday, the blower has stopped working again. This time, I'm fixing it myself. How do I get the blower motor OUT is my question......

I have a 2011 Dodge Charger and the interior lights stay on while I'm driving down the road. How do I fix it?

Sounds like 1 of the 4 door switches is bad, test the drivers door switch first, then front passenger, then r/r then l/r till you find the bad one.

Rear knocking 2000 impala

A broken sway bar will also manifest itself while driving over an uneven or washboard-like road surface. A clanking or clunking sound will emanate from the front or rear suspension. Broken sway bars will emit knocking and scraping noises over potholes and dips, sometimes rhythmically. This happens when a sway bar bushing joint swings freely without support and strikes the chassis frame or control arm. Hope this helps.

The car jerks while we drive

Check your air intake tube for any cracks. The jolting could be caused by improper air flow.

Passenger side doorwon't open from inside the car

What has happened is the poorly designed clip that holds the pull bar to the handle has snapped causing the bar to fall out. Take the interior panel off of the inside of the door, using 2 pairs of pliers twist the end of the bar around and simply insert it in the hole it fell out of, I have had to do this to all of my doors and, unless you slam the door really hard it will stay put.
