Old batteries don't like cold weather. We used to take ours off the car and take it inside because we couldn't afford a new one. Then car started just fine. Finally were able to buy a new battery. My son has this problem now and his car has probably been jumped too many times. He can't use his anti-theft device because it totally drains his battery. He's had it jumped several times. Now it's really freezing outside and the car won't start. It's too cold to go out and jump it.
It sounds like you have a charging system problem. You may need to get your alternator tested and/or replaced. If the battery keeps draining to where it wont start, this is usually the cause.
Battery is dead ... dropped a cell ... get a new one ... the cold weather is hard on poor old batteries
