The cd player seems to be stuck on eject
All the disc lights and the ready light are flashing
On the radio panel, when you try to switch to cd, it reads error
Is there a way to reset the cd player? or a simple service to try before taking it in to a car stereo service store?
My 2002 neon se 80k mi r
Try put a cd in the slot and it shouldcome out
I had the same problem with my 2000 Dodge Neon 4 disk CD changer. All lights blinking and an "Err" message on the display. I found this solution on a web site that worked for me...
Take the 3 screws off the top, 4 screws out of the front sides that hold in the face. Remove the top and face. Then the guy said to remove the 4 micro screws from the top shiny metal cover on the front inside. I didn't have a small enough screw driver. I just stuck my pinky finger in the top and wiggled each CD towards the front and out the slot, one at a time. Put it back together and it works great. Hope this helps. Also thanks to the original poster!!!

All the lights on our 02 Neon's CD player are flashing and it will not work. This started when we had a new battery put in. Help!!
I am experiencing the same problem with my 2000 neon.
i changed the player and the lights are still flashing so any assistance would be greatly apreciated. I don't think that the problem has to do with the player.
The only way to fix this is to take it out and send it in for repair, this is a common problem. Pull the unit and take it to the parts dept of your local dodge dealer, they can send it out for you. One thing, this a factory player??
