1995 vw gulf chico. hesitates when applying throttle or letting of throttle. idles fine and runs fine under constant acceleration. replacing plugs didnt fix it.

Have you checked the spark plug leads, disy cap and rotor. Does that model have points. Have you checked the coil. Some golfs have a rubber mount for the carby that splits and sucks air in. Have you changed the fuel filter. Is the air filter really dirty

Hi My golf is a 1995 model 1800 cti. i have had a problem it will start and go but when i come out for lunch or even before that it does not want to start. And its not the battery?

might sound silly here but have oyu checked the spark plug gaps of late ,these cars use a three electrode spark plug and normally last forever and a day but check the gaps on all three electrodes and close gap to 25th and then see what happens
