hi mate sounds like an earthing issue ..maybe a wiring harness problem in the steering colum too but i would check all earthing wire points on the body ...do any of the lights eg tail-headlight-dash light ..go off or on when the car (beeps)? but check the earth points first..cheers
gday mate, geoff here, seems like you may be right, if the radio has been fitted to another fuse, ie the dash light fuse which may well also run the tail lights, alternitavely the new radio may take more power than the original, usnig higher power for more volume, features. check fuse amperage and corrct, look to see ( if you can ) to see the original wiring hasnt been tampered with, if so correct and try again, best i can do without being there, hope this helps, geoff.
tats the engine management light mate usally comes on when u have low oil or antthing to do with the engine bring it to nissan dealer if its not low oil they will hook it up to a machine and bingo they have your problem.
the light sounds like the check engine light, and this as something to do with the emissions system, and bad gas could very well cause it to come on try undoing the positive cable to the battery for a few minutes it should go off but it still may come back on after you drive it a while
hi mate if you keep blowing fuses disconnect your front fog lights and try again if your dash lights work then a bulb has failed and gone to earth if it still blows the fuse disconnect the dahs pod (clocks) and reconect the fog lights if it does not blow the fuse the it probably is the dash pod or something associated with the pod hope it helps
