Hu, just picked up a new 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE from Dealership. I got it Monday evening so, it was dark out. I driving it home, I noticed that the Low Beam Headlights shined about height of the hood or just a little hight. There is a distnct line where there is light and no light at all. On country back winding roads, can see going down into a turn. very dangerous. Any thoughts on why this is happening.

On the dashboard is a control for adjusting the ride height of the headlights and it could be set on low try looking for the ride height control and adjusting it to see if they come up higher which i am sure they will

I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS I'm driving on the freeway the car cut off. The aux power stayed on but when I tried to start the car it kept acting like it wanted to start but it wouldn't turn over.

take it to a dealership this car has a recall to check the engine for noise and replacement is does not pass the process tests it is campaign 132 per Hyundai if it has been performed and passed Hyundai will still check engine issues and make possible goodwill repairs BUT this is speculation until know problem with engine/car has been diagnosed

Just bought a 2012 Hyundai Sonata. I noticed after I cut the car off, there's a ticking noise under the car. What is that?

this being a new car probably with very low mileage the noise you hear is more than likely the exhaust cooling off after getting hot from driving.it will stop doing this after a while when it gets driven more.some cars do this as it gets broke in from driving.

2011 HYUNDIA-SONATA-TURB0-LTD AFTER DRIVING FRIM WISCONSIN TO FLORIDA AND BACK AGAIN I NOTICED THAT THE TAIL PIPES WERE COVERED WITH A BLACK CARBON IS THIS A SIGN OF OF THE GAS THAT IS BEING...

Your vehicle is still under the powertrain warranty. If there's a problem, have it properly diagnosed and, if necessary, repaired under warranty. There's a simple diagnostic check which can be peformed by an authorized Hyundai Service Department. It's a scan of the fuel trims (fuel adaptive strategies) to determine if the engine is running 'RICH' or 'LEAN' Call the nearest Hyundai Dealership Service Department and take the vehicle in for a check (under warranty).

Why does my new hyundai sonata hybrid getting 27 mpg.

it does depend on the type of driving you do, and break-in is a factor for a new car-mileage will be lower until the car is fully broken in (3-5000 miles), and if you do more highway driving than stop-and-go it will affect your gas mileage.

2011 Hyundai Sonota Cruise Control: My new sonota's cruise control does not brake the vehicle when going down a hill. The car begins to increase its speed by over 20 km per hr and would exceed that amount...

I just bought a 2011 Sonata and am experiencing the same problem. Going downhill with cruise set at 55 mph; speed increased to 70 mph and was still accelerating (from the downhilll grade) when I finally pressed on the brake.
This is not normal. My Honda Accord never varied from the cruise setting by more than 3 or 4 mph ... going uphill or downhill.

2005 Hyundai Sonata airbag light just came on as I was driving along. Turned engine off and back on and the light was still on. Dealership wants $80.00 to diagnois. Is there a recall or does anyone know...

My airbag light stays on too. It could be a code you could just clear. The Sonata has several airbags. It could be a non working seat airbag, or even a thrown off senser (which is common in this car)! I dont think its worth 80 dollars to fix at the dealership. Go to auto parts store and get it checked.
