I have a 2007 Mercury Milan Premier. When driving on a rough(DRY) road the rear of the car has a hydroplane feel to the right. The car only has 33,000 on it. It rides fine on smooth roads but most cars do.

3.0L V6 (and box behind it?) post a problem fist the A/t box list of failures is 20 paged + long, name one? that way we the blind can be on the same page? and there is not just one box solenoid/the word is solenoid's (MANY INSIDE IT,DEEP) say my a/t box shifts funny?, late? or slips? or will not shift in drive,1,2,3,4,5 or sticks at 2.??????? DRIVE DEAD,REVERSE DEAD , low dead PRNDL some of these 3.0L have a mazda transmission called Mazda trans.; Trans. code FNR5 seen here all
Unless yours is different from most, there is an ignition module which can fail in several ways, and is a common failed item. Failed wiring to coil also possible.
if you know there is suppose to be vac.pull it off aand feel with your finger you can feel it.mechanics wire, carb cleaner with red supplied tube,maybe easier to splice new peice in.
I would check the rear sway bar links first.This is what keeps the car from going all over when turning and on bumpy roads.This is not an expensive fix.The control arms are a lot more.
you may need to top up the coolant,r112,r140or what ever the car is useing. if the car can'nt be topped up then you have a leak that needs to be fixed,usually the drier.
had a similar problem once,, was told it was the "mass" sensor. which mesurses oxygen flow. and adjusts as needed when i was checking under the hood found a broken vaccum line,,,,that was it..
