Can someone tell me the steps for removing the factory cassette/radio unit?
Quite simple actually, the hardest part will be getting the face off the dash. Then after that there is just a few bolts and some wiring harnesses to be removed.
All you have to do to get the face off is remove the 2 screws from the bottom then the screw which is elaborately hidden behind the clock (Which just pops out with a flat head) and then the face will come off after disconnecting the wiring harness to the random buttons.

Thank you.. that helps
I have a 2000 Honda Accord with a single cd player/radio; I purchased a Honda Accord single cd/cassette player/radio to replace it but I am having difficulty getting the original one out of the dash. Any suggestions? I don't want to force anything and have something break on me. Don't like after market stuff or having to cut the dash, that's why I bought another Honda radio. I like everything to stay original but most of my music is on cassette and wanted the option to play both in the car! ;0)
