Question about 1997 Pontiac Sunfire
Car starts up then shuts off. Theft light comes on. Took it to the dealer to diagnose. Result was bad "pass lock sensor". Dealer wanted $300 for the part and with labor they wanted to charge $615. yea right. Found online that this system can be bypassed with keyless entry module. www.gmpasslock.com. Ordered part #PLJX for $79 and had it installed at Alarms etc. in tampa florida on nebraska ave. for $75. Their number is 813-971-5950. Ops ck good

Repair the anti theft system as car thinks you are trying to steal it.
