SOURCE: cigarette lighter fuse location

The cigarette fuse is located in the battery junction box under the hood, it is fuse # 10 and is a 20A fuse, open the hood and find the box it is on the passenger side towards the back of the compartment, it is 10th in line on the top row, also you can check these fuses without removing them through the clear plastic top so that should make things a little easier too, hope this helps

Where is the cigarette lighter fuse for a Chevrolet City Express LT?

The cigarette lighter fuse for a Chevrolet City Express LT is located in the Engine Compartment Fuse Box. The location of the fuse box varies depending on the year of the vehicle. For instance, in 2003-2007 models, the cigar lighter (power outlet) fuses are numbered 29 (Auxiliary Power Outlets) and 30 (Cigarette Lighter). In 2008-2009 models, they are numbered 33 (Auxiliary Power Outlet) and 38 (Cigarette Lighter). In 2010-2022 models, they are numbered 25 (Auxiliary Power Outlet) and 73 (Cigarette Lighter).

My 2006 chevy hhr with the 2.2 in it keep blowing the cigarette lighter fuse what could be the problem?

first check to make sure a coin has not gotten into the lighter. if that is OK, then check the lighter element to make sure it is not burnt , it creates to much resistance on the lighter circuit and blows the fuse.
