Depends on how hard you are on the accelerator pedal. I have been driving my 1997 Saturn for 14 years from New with 210,000 Km on it now. I use Shell Silver Gas and it runs like new i think the manual says 70,000 Km.

Does chrysler 2005 pacifica have a metal timiming chain

No it has a timing belt that should be replaced at about 102,000 miles. The water pump is behind the cover and should be replaced also. You can find a kit on line that has everything you need. You can get free loner tools at most auto part stores

Directions for replacing the belt on 1998 Saturn sl2

Get a new belt, you will need to know whether SL2 DOHC or SL1 SOHC and whether or not you have A/C to get the proper belt. Remove the right front tire and put car on a jack stand, remove the plastic service panel behind the wheel. There is a little picture on the radiator cross member of a wrench on the tensioner. You are going to have to get a long open end wrench on the tensioner, and make it longer with a homemade extender, relax the tensioner and have a helper then pull the belt off. Replace with new belt by reversing process. The dog bone mount will be in your face behind the service panel you may want to replace it while you are at it and the tensioner too if it has not already been replaced.

My automatic seat belts are stuck around the halfway mark, how would I get them into the driving position? the Car is a 1991 saturn SL2 Sedan.

Probably best to replace, when the mechanism gets unreliable do not risk fixing try a wreckers yard, make sure the replacements pull out cleanly but lock when "jerked" hard.

1991 saturn sl2 water pump replacement

well first you drain the coolant out at the low point on the radiator, that way it is saved if new. then you take off the right front wheel and remove the plastic access cover from behind the wheel to get to that side of the engine. then you take off the serpentine belt and etc. yes you can do this with the engine still in the car. you may want to consider replacing the serpentine belt and tensioner while you are in that area.

1997 saturn sl2 dohc is there a timing belt or chain on it

These engines have a timing chain, not a belt. They also have nylon coated guides under the cover that wear. If you change the chain yourself, or have it done, check the guides as well.
