Fuel Filter I have been told this car has 2 filters one inline and one in the tank were is the inline filter located.

I heard that there was a filter inside the fuel tank, but I also heard that there is no actual fuel filter...supposedly there is a fuel strainer located inside the fuel tank. Usually an inline fuel filter is between the fuel tank and the engine.

Newer cars I have seen usually have the fuel filter in the tank. Vehicles with inline filter are usually located around the fuel tank or in the fuel line running from the tank to the engine. Did not find 2011 but other models I found have access to fuel pump and filter under rear seat.

Sorry I am not sure about 2010 but on CHEVY the ones I have change over the last few years. They were around the gas tank axle area (One was above the vacuum canister near the gas tank.) or under the car on the drivers side attached to the frame between tank and engine compartment.
You might check with a auto parts store and ask for a exact match fuel filter for you car. They may tell you the only one you have is part of the fuel pump.
From my understanding a lot of cars now days just have a fuel filter as part of the fuel pump in the gas tank..
03 I think has been the latest model I have changed a inline filter on. I hope this helps if not sorry for any confusion.

2 filters.One at the fuel pump inlet in the fuel tank (you never change this one other than at a fuel pump change) and a inline fuel filter just behind the fuel tank in the center above the rear axle.

Yes there is no inline fuel filter only the fine mesh filter sock at the inlet to the fuel pump inside the gas tank.

The only filter is the one at the inlet to the fuel pump inside the gas tank, no inline filter is used. The in tank filter is never serviced unless the fuel pump is replaced..

The fuel filter is located under the vehicle inline with the fuel lines from the tank.

HI. this seems to be a faulty(clogged) filter but, i would also change the fuel pump as well. this is good preventive maintenance. the fuel filter can be changed in the parking lot. it is located near the fuel tank and, it is along the outer frame work, inline with the fuel lines.

You will need to separate the fuel lines on each end of the filter to release it. there will be clips on the ends of the filter that hold the fuel lines. be careful not to break these clips. it is very hard to release the fuel lines of the filter when these clips are broken.

To clarify the location of the filter, it is located Under vehicle, driver side, below seating area, front of fuel tank, mounted on frame rail in fuel line

It is located on passenger side of vehicle near the wheel.

yes. there is a large main inline filter right next to the gas tank and a smaller filter at the fuel inlet of the carbuerator. this one usually doesn't need changed as often as the main filter, about every 50k miles or so
