My factory alarm on my car was going off constantly and I couldn't get it to stop unless I disconnected the battery. Took it to the dealership they stated my trunk was too full and the stuff was hitting the switch not to open it but make it seem like it was trying to ajar. I cleaned my trunk completely out its empty. It was good for a week. Then last night it started going off again. Its done it 4 times since then but I am able to stop it with the clicker. Not sure what is wrong with it. Help!!!!

We had the same problem, went thru all the fix-it lists and still it wouldnt start. we put an inexpensive push button starter under the dash, turn on the switch and it starts every time!

2003 Aurora, left key on and battery went dead. Recharged battery. Won't start. Turn key to on, security light out and check engine light on. Move key to start and nothing, back to on, one minut

Very interesting site here.. regarding your problem. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/
Another thought.. even though you charged the battery, it's not at all uncommon for a car battery to be very damaged by fully discharging. Especially if not new-ish. One or more cells in it may be bad causing the overall voltage to be under normal. This alone can cause the problem you have. I would try jumping it with another car or test the battery to see if it's got at least 12.7 to 12.9 volts when sitting doing nothing. Good luck.

My 2000 jeep grand cherokee ran out of gas. Battery acts like it's being drained. Won't start with out a jump.

The first thing you need done is to thave the properly battery tested with a special tool. Most parts stores dop this test for free.

Dead battery, replaced battery and alternator but still no charge!

if its not charging while running at14.5 volts or so you have a charging problem mabey no power to the alternator if its charging at 14.5 or so and the batery load tests good and its going dead over night you have a draw from some component in the system.

The battery won't hold charge new battery

You put a new battery, now its acting like very low power again?
Most likely the alternator is bad. Maybe not putting out enough to recharge battery. Could have been the original problem.

Can be checked with a meter. Battery at rest should show 12 - 12.9 volts more or less.
With engine running, should be showing 13.5 - 14.7 volts as alternator is pushing electric back into battery.

If you start engine and (after say 10 seconds) voltage stays same or drops, then the charger needs to be replaced. Thats the alternator. Shop around at different auto parts store. (Phone first)

I have a 2008 nissan frontier se and when you put it in drive it acts like the brakes are hung or something it will go forward but acts like it is binding up. I had a dead battery could that of had made...

A dead battery would have given you problems starting before anything else. (unless all you did was recharge it, then anything goes.)
If battery is new , I recommend you take the vehicle to a repair shop this way they can pull the tires off and see whats holding the brakeswhile they are applied.
