Each vehicle's radiator has a drain petcock (drain plug) on the bottom of the radiator. Generally it is on the drivers side of the radiator. http://www.ehow.com/video_1861_change-radiator-fluid.html

Where is thermostat position on santa fe 2002 crdi 4wd
the upper radiator house should run directly from the radiator to the thermostat housing. there should be 2 or 3 bolts that hold the housing on. loosen them and when you go to put the new thermostat in make sure you get a new gasket or use some high temperature RTV. if it isnt located on the upper radiator house it will be on the lower.. it has to be one or the other. it just depends on how the coolant flows on that specific vehicle

How to drain the radiator on 2002 Dodge Intrepid 2.7 liter
Warning first...always work on radiator when temperature is low to reduce chance of extreme burn. That being said,
Look on the bottom of the radiator for a "pitcock" valve. It will look like a big wingnut. Turn it counterclockwise to open the valve and the radiator will drain.
If for some strange reason there is no valve on the bottom of the radiator, disconnect the lower radiator hose to drain.
