The inertia switch should be located under the drivers side dash assembly near the steering column. It is very close to your brake light switch on the brake pedal. Hope this helps.
the inertia switch is located on the passenger side under the carpet up towards the firewall, pull the carpet back from the top middle and you will see it..
for full size Bronco Your vehicle's inertia switch is located behind the left side of the dash, above the brake pedal behind kick panel, there should be a hole to push reset button down. Just flip the switch back to ON position Bronco II opposite/passenger side in kick panel
The problem could be that the air filter has become wet, or water has entered an electrical control device in the engine compartment, or a wire connector or a bulk-head connector might have become loose or dis-connected, the fuse to the ECM or fuel pump might have blown out, or the fuel shut-off inertia switch has been tripped.
Check the fuse to the fuel pump and the fuel shut-off or "inertia" switch, usually located behind the passenger side kick panel, or it will sometimes be located under the carpet just under the heater assembly, and check the red reset button on the top to see if it has been tripped, and push the red button all the way down to see if it will reset. Here is an image of the inertia switch or fuel cut-off switch, and a diagram that shows the location of the fuel cut-off switch under the passenger side carpet to help assist you, and let me know if you require any further assistance.
the black wire is ground, the pink/blk goes to fuel pump and sending unit.
if you follow the pink/blk wire it will go to the inertia switch, the other wire coming out of inertia switch is orange/lt blue, that wire goes to fuel relay, that's located on right (middle) fender
The Fuel Inertia Switch is Located At 1 of 2 Places 1 Under or at the passenger side Kick Panel Down where your Right foot is when sitting on Pass side. Or Inside the Back of the Vehicle behind one of the Side PANEL COVERS.PLEASE RATE ME !! Thank You
The fuel pump relay should be at the pass. fender well. It may be under a cover that holds 3 relays together. Usually it has a green plug on it. Also check the inertia (crash) switch. It's located at the upper part of the pass. side floor inside the car. It'll be under the carpet midway up the firewall. Make sure it hasn't gotten tripped.
