Where are all the chassis numbers on a mercades w208 clk?

Yes it should do as long as the chassis numbers match up and part numbers match its only under the floor thats changed on the convertable who ever your buying it off should know orvtry before you buy

its inside the transmission. you need to pull the pan off trans to get to it. check the wire connection on the trans for corrosion first

YOU PROBABLY HAVE A HARD CODE STORED IN THE CONTROL UNIT.YOU MAY BE ABLE TO ERASE IT BY DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY FOR A FEW MINUTES.IF NOT YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE VISIT A DEALERSHIP TO HAVE IT CHECKED.

You must get transmission service done. it will replace the pilot bush in your transmission your car have a 5 speed tiptronic transmission it's need to get transmission service done at every 65000km otherwise you will get problem. seems to be leaking from pilot bush.

you dont say if its standard fitted model hifi unit, i take it you have pulled the din plug out of changer unit and checked all the pins are there? push plug fully in, check head unit end too, if thats done i had one that needed resetting on head unit, another the disc unit had dodgy earth lead, they dont norm give up. saying that my dads gave up when he hit a spped hump to fast. tricky...

If you can afford a Mercades you should be able to afford to have it repaired..

all you need is the radio keys to remove the radio. If the radio has two little slots in the bottom corners is the way to tell if thats all you need. Any good Mercedes repair shop should have the radio keys and should be able to pull it out for you at no charge. It only takes seconds to do.

salvage yards aer a great source for parts
you might be able to get a seat belt out of another mercades also
but be carefull of the year as they will differ
