What size engine.. do you have new wires... you need the number off the wires so you can put them in properly... because each wire will go to specific cylinder and place on the distributor

Installing Spark plug wires

Unless the wires were removed the firing order cannot change as also the length of the wires do not permit that the wires switch over.
All what is needed is to check the spark at each plug , if of low internsity check the ignition system including the HT coil. Also the fuel filter and the fuel pump for the right pressure.

I have a 91 honda civic and need spark plug wire diagram

Fire order
1-3-4-2

Cylinder #1 will be the one closes to the fan belts and so on 1-2-3-4, on the distributor cap there should be a # 1 stamped on it, put cylinder # 1 spark plug wire on that one, install spark plug wire in firing order clockwise on the cap, the cap some time's might even have the firing order on it.

Just changed out my spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. Now the car wont start, what is the problem ?

Recheck the firing order of the spark plugs and wires. you might have connected them wrong. Can't tell you the firing order since I don't know what kind, make, or year of your vehicle.

I hooked up the spark plug wires wrong on the distrator cap it is a 1988 4.3L 6cyl how can i find a diagram to fix this problem or tell me hoe to fix it

find the firing order which is usually on the intake manifold, put the crankshaft on 0 degrees top dead center, pull off the distributor cap and mark where the rotor button is pointing, start #1 cylinder at that spot(which that spot should be pointing towards the rear of the distributor),and # 1 cylinder is front of engine on the drivers side then it goes next 1 back #3 then # 5,and the passengers side front is #2, then #4,then #6 towards the back, and the firing order goes clockwise on the distributor.if it spits and sputters or back fires, then the timing firing order is off 180 degrees,so move every wire to the exact opposite on the cap,so your #1 plug wire will be opposite from where you put it first.then double check the firing order and all plug wires then try it.the firing order is:165432,i still dont know how to send pictures.

1988 honda civic 1.5eng.cut off now will not start it

You need a cap and rotor. Rotor is probaly grounding thru distributor shaft from a carbon track.

Wont start after it died one night

The cap should be marked for number 1. The distributor turns clockwise. The firing order is 1-3-4-2.
