Hello: This model has a Northstar engine. The starter is under the intake manifold, you first have to remove the silver cosmetic cover then the intake manifold. Please disconnect the battery first.

I have a 1996 Cadillac DeVille Concourse and there is a humming in the front end. From the inside the car it sounds like a small car with a slight muffler leak. Does anyont have any clue as to what this...

Well the thing to do would be to jack it up and remove the wheel, check the disc/(rotor) and disc pads if all looks ok then spred the pads away from the calipers approx 1/2 way back so that the disc runs free and re fir wheel with 3 bolts nip them up and hold the wheel top/bottom to try to find any play in bearings ,also spin wheels fast forward and reverse ,if there is a noise then replace bearings..

Just bought a "94" Sedan Deville and turn signals not working. Where is the flasher unit located?

it's attached to the steering column you have to take off the kick plate and metal shield under the steering wheel the flasher is going to be a black electronic box clipped to the steering column or nearby if it's been serviced before.

if all else fails go buy the flasher so you know what it looks like.

1994 Cadillac DeVille Concourse - Runs rough?

The "check engine" light will "light" when there is a malfunction in the engine management system. The fault code is then stored in the computer. The computer must be scanned to retrieve these stored faults to pinpoint the malfunctioning component. We recommend buying your own scanner and doing it yourself. With a pocket scanner you can check for fault codes to find out why the light came on in the first place. You can clear your cars trouble codes after you replace the malfunctioning sensors.
