Question about 2002 Honda Civic
Unfortunately I can't give you the code, but you might be able to get the code from the the Honda website below. You will need your VIN # and the serial number from the radio. To get the serial number, Turn car to ON II(radio powers up)
Turn radio off
Hold 1 & 6 buttons on radio
While still holding 1 & 6, turn radio on
Write down the 8 digit number that should display
If you are not the owner on record, you may have to call Honda Customer service. When you call them tell them that you are the new owner and they will update their system and inform you of any recalls on the vehicle. I had to do this last year with my wife's car. Fairly painless.

You're talking about the radio, right? Look in your owners manual, sometimes the previous owner wrote it down-also, look in the glove box, for a sticker-I once found it on a sticker ON THE RADIO when I removed it.
lots of good information here:

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
