We recently bought a 2006 bmw 325i at the dealership. After a few days of driving we noticed that the airbag on the passenger side keeps turning off and on along with the seat belt sign. We believe there is something wrong with the sensor. We tried to get it fixed but they only fixed the wiring and yet again the same problem occurs. What should we do?

HELLO SERGEY ITS JP . IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE THE VEHICLE HAS A SEAT RECOGNITION SENSOR DEFECTIVE THIS SENSOR SEATS IN THE SEAT CUSION ,TO DETECT IF A PERSON IS SEATING DOWN OR NOT TO ENABLE AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT IF IS DEFECTIVE IT WILL COME ON AND OFF. .AND THE SEAT BELT HAS A RETRACTION DEVICE THAT TENSIONS THE SEAT BELT WHEN IN A CRASH ,SO IF THE SEAT IS NOT DETECTING IT WILL NOT TROW THE PASSENGER AIR BAG OR THE SEAT BELT TENSIONER ,THIS SHOULD BE FIXED BY A QUALIFIED TECH

How do you reset the antitheft system in a 2003 BMW 325I I have literally no power at all not whatsoever

No lights, nothing? Not anti-theft, that only stops you starting the engine. Check the big fuse on the battery.

Could be battery be flat?

Ultimately, it is a BMW, so you will probably have to get the dealership to tow it, unless it is a simple flat battery. So many FUSES!

Why doesn't Airbag warning light come on when you start up

Yes it is a problem. The light should come on and then go off after about 2 seconds. It means there is a power problem with the SRS. Unfortuately, in this case only the dealer should repair that.

Were is battery on a bmw 523i

To be completely honest, I know so few about the 2005 BMW's, but the battery location should be simple.

Typically they are located under the hood, usually by one one ofthe hood hinges. However, BMW has been know to put some of them in thetrunk (E46 325i). I have also seen some of them below the rear seat as well (Serie 3). Thebattery may have a cover over it, so it may be a little harder to see.

From my BMW catalog it shows it should be in the trunk, on the passenger's side. See this site: BMW Select

Hope helped with this (remember rated this help) Good luck.

Airbag says off

Usualy there is a key hole located near where the passenger air bag off light is. All you do is find the key hole, insert your ignition key and turn to reactivate the air bag. If this doesn't help, i would make a quick phone call to your nearest toyota dealership, and ask for service.
Good luck!
