I tried the DIY service and repair manuals from a website and it actually helped me repair transmission problem in my ford explorer. it wont move forward or
reverse, engine is good both solenoids for forward and reverse work.
I don't have much technical knowledge but I just followed it step-wise, and works perfect! got it from www.reliable-store.com
You may have to loosen the transmission also to get enough room to remove it without taking the motor out. Make sure your pan is not cracked first. Also be careful when lifting the motor as to not damage anything on top of the engine.

Sounds to me someone wants to make a couple of bucks. Does the truck still run? The timming chain is going to have play in it, even with only a few miles on it THATS JUST THE NATURE OF THE BEAST, the chanses of the timming chain going out is remote, I've owned a few 4.3's with well over 100.000 mi. and never had to chg. a timming chain, not to say it can't happend just saying its very remote.
P1133 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor 1 I would have the repair shop see if they either damaged or left disconnected the oxygen sensor for engine cylinder bank one upstream sensor, this sensor would have been disconnected if the oil pan was removed.
