Remove the wheel. then take out the lower ball joint bolt.remove the tie rod from the assembly this makes it easy to swing the assembly back and forth. using a ball joint fork insert it between the the ball joint and lower control arm and wack the end on it till the ball joint separates from the control arm. using a pry bar put it thru the control arm so you can pry down on the control arm to release the ball joint then towards the back of the control arm are 2 nuts remove these and remove the cap that they hold towards the front of the control arm is one more nut remove this one and then pull out the control arm replace in reverse orderHow do I change my lower contol arm, right side in - onetufshoppe_40.gif

What fuse is it for taillights and dome light 2000 ford focus

Running lights (left side): Fuse #47 -- Running lights (right side): Fuse #48 -- Brake lights: Fuse #54. Fuse panel is on the lower left side (underneath) the dashboard. NOTE: If it is your brake lights that are not working and fuse # 54 looks okay, check the brake light switch, it may have gone bad. Dome light is fuse #46 or #47 depending on model.

Replacement Front Suspension, Lower Ball Joint 2000 Ford Taurus SE ,what all has to removed to replace the lower ball joint?

The easiest way is too remove the whole knuckle and remove the joint on a bench. The Ball Joint is in the knuckle, not in the lower control arm. Try to not break pinch bolt on lower strut clamp. Hope this helps.. :-) Cobra
