Toyota Harrier (Lexus RX300) 1999.
The dash is in Japanese - would like it in English but can live with it. Two main issues:
1. I can't find how to adjust the clock to the correct time
2. The anti-theft device seems to take random amounts of time before it lets me start the car, anything from 0 to 20mins!!
Any help much appreciated

Follow these steps:
1. Press the setup button
2. Press the second button from the left at the bottom
3. Click on the fourth option, and you will see the word 'English' appear, click on it
4. If the fourth menu is not it, continue clicking on the different sub-menus until you see 'English' on the screen
I have seen this question many times and I have not been able to find any info that says English is an optional language on any Japanese domestic make..

This is programmed into the ECM (computer) it would require a software update or replaced if they are even available...check with your dealer for more specific details.
