You need to get a diaghram on the firing order of your spark plug

wires, almost any autoparts store will give you the firing order for

your vehicle. if the firing order is incorrect the engine can sound

like its falling apart. the spark plugs also need to be gapped

correctly, they are not always pre-gapped or check the gap of

one of your old spark plugs and match the gap with the new ones.

good luck!

Sounds like my 2002 nissan pathfinder is bogging down when i gas it , it runs fine but gets crappy gas miledge

needs a tuneup, definately change fuel & air filters, replace spark plugs & wires, distributor cap / rotor, change oil & filter, it would'nt hurt to replace cat conv., it restricts exhaust flow, between you & me , take it off, put a straight pipe in its place, is your inspection up to date ? you'll have a year to replace your CAT, before next inspection. just remember that. nissans this year usually need to have the timing belt replaced, nissan charges $900 + to do it. BIG DIFFERANCE ! see how it runs after tuneup, also , you may end up replacing both the cam & crank sensors down the road. I would replace the OXYGEN sensor/s as part of tuneup, it will help a great deal.

My 95 Pathfinder has sat idle for a couple months and now it won't start.

letting a vehicle sit idle for months is not good !!! now you need to do some work, so get out your check book ! replace both air & fuel filters, replace spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap & rotor, add fresh fuel & fuel injector cleaner to tank @ same time. why are you going from accessory to run, that doesn't make any sense, stop it, please ! now get to work, good luck !

Hi! my nissan sentra 1989 8valve engine, lately is very fuel efficient almost 12km /liter. but for now i think 4km /liter. i dont know why? pls. help me what im doing. thanks.

Hello! That is a significant change...I'll need a little clarification...Is the Check Engine Light (CEL) flashing?...Tell me how the engine is running...Do you see any smoke (blue or black) out of the exhaust?... Is the engine hard starting, idle poorly, hesitate or stall?...

If the CEL is flashing I'll send the procedure to identify the trouble code/codes that the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) has stored...
