Don't you still have a door key?Otherwise jack up the car and remove the engine under body cover.Between the radiator support and the engine are some hard lines.Remove the two brackets holding them, this will allow you room to get to the starter.Hook the red end of a jumper cable to the red battery cable that's connected to the starter.Black to a suitable ground and charge the battery.A battery charger is easier to use,use that if you have one.If jumping off a car make sure the cables are hooked to the dead car first and grounded to the engine not the battery of the car doing the charging.Sure hope this helps!
what size engine you have?
if 3.4l open the hood and stand on passenger side fender look behind the altenator to down side and fallow the ac line you will see it. if you wanna charge ac you gonna need long hose because valve is little deep and please becarefull stop engine dont get hurt from the belt and pulleys.
The A/C service port is on the accumulator (Filter/Seperator i think is what you called it)on your Silverado. Good luck and keep me posted. Be glad to help.
Do you have the car running while you are trying to charge the system?
And, do you have the can installed on the low side line (larger line)?
Let me know.
Regards
they are two fitting depending what year this car is? this car should have one red cap ( small port) blue cap ( big port ) you will want to use the big port. if the vehicle came from the factory with r134a in it then the hose will only hook up to the charge port so you cant really go wrong there. just dont over charge the system and check for leaks after your done
