SOURCE: Yukon xl rear door won't unlock and there is no manual lock.
I fixed mine by using fine steel wool to clean the brass contacts located at the right upper door frame on the right door as viewed from the rear of the vechicle.

Has it been tested for losing power, like a circuit breaker, as some systems incorporate that . If need be I would splice in harness for motor & supply my own power at least to get it up, which would also tell you if it's a power issue down the line. You could use a 14.4 V, or 12V. Cordless tool battery if you have one, or just another car battery in good shape, then go from there.

The rear door lock/unlock switch was the problem. When I took it apart, I found the wire connectors were corroded. I cleaned them up and it is now functioning well.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Pull back the weather seal and you'll be able to get to everything.
