Depending on your years they will twist out or pull out. And about half the times they break. If it does you can get the rest out with needle nose pliers.

3rd break light and license plate lamps are out on 2005 ford freestar

Check all wires at sockets for breakage and check the brake lights for normal functionality and all the bulbs the third brake light bulbs are probably blown out as well as the license plate bulbs and the interior light may be loose in its fitting if after checking and making sure the bulb is tight the dimmer switch is worn for the interior light and should be replaced

Problems: Ford focus 2007 model 1. My brake lights stays on while driving without hitting on the breaks, 2. Car wont switch off after removing the key until I let go of the brakes then the car switches...

It sounds like you have a voltage feedback that is providing power to your shift interlock solenoid and your brake lamps are being fed by your daytime running lamp circuits. Check the bulb and make sure that:
1. It is the CORRECT bulb for the vehicle
2. The bulb is installed correctly
3. The bulb SOCKET is not damaged or shorted
4. The replacement bulb is not defective and shorting internally (NEW and GOOD are NOT the same thing)

How do you replace a bulb on a 1996 Olds Cutlass Ciera Third Brake light in back window ?

Carefully lift front of cover in rear window, it is attached by velcro. Slide it towards you without lifting too much as this will break the fingers that hold the rear of the cover. Now you have access to light bulbs. Install is reverse.

Brake lights dont work or other lights are ok i change the break light switch i change all fuse but still some 10 dont work what can i do

Make sure you have the switch adjusted properly....If you remove the switch without unplugging it
the brake lights should come on....You have to have the brake light switch button placed in perfect position so when you mash pedal the switch button will release from switch causing the lights to come on.......Be sure the bulbs are not burnt out.....just for a test turn switch on and remove switch from pedal area without unplugging it to check for brake lights........If they are not on check bulbs..........

Just bought second hand 98 chevy lumina and someone stopped me saying I have no brake lights, so I checked and I only see a place for backup lights and turn signal lights. Why do I not have any break...

The brake light in the rear window and the main brake lights are on a different circuit. After the signal leaves the activating switch on the brake pedal arm, it splits. One circuit goes straight to the high mount brake light, the other goes into the turn signal switch. If the rear turn signals work but the brake lights don't, suspect the turn signal switch, not the bulbs and wires. Better to check this before removing and checking bulbs, wires and fuses. It is a common problem with the W-body cars like Lumina, Monte Carlo, Buick Regal, Olds Cutlass and Pontiac Grand Prix. (Approx 94-99 models). Part number is GM 190005031 (w/o radio accessory control) or 19005032 (with radio controls)

Bulb is goog but the left brake light and signal

Does it have trailer light plug. After market trailer plugs cause all kinds of problems and should be removed and replaced when they do. Also check the bulb in another socket to make absolutely sure it is bad. I have been fooled more than once by newer bulbs that break connection towards the bottom and you can't see it
