Yes it is very possible to do. as long as you have a jack and jack stands, there should be no problem getting to the starter

1995 ford escort wagon ignition to starter wiring shematics

95 escort, automatic tranny
At the starter motor, two voltage circuits, one comes from the battery, hot all the time. The other voltage circuit goes hot with the key in the crank position and is wired through the neutral switch. The ground for the starter motor is through engine block, grounds are important.

I need to replace the front fog lamp bulb on my 2014 Hyundai i10 1.1. Can anybody tell me how to do this?

Without lift, without dismantling the bumper. You can lie on the ground split. Fog lamp housing with two screws locked, you can start with a wrench 7MM demolition, but it is best to use 7MM sleeve, easy to split the left and right of the difficult demolition, you can remove the bulb to be loaded into.
The first time I was looking for repair of changing light bulbs, the next time you will know how to change a light bulb

94 ford escort lx. Only clicks at relay when trying to start. Replaced battery, ignition relay, neutral safety switch, ignition switch, starter tests good. Power going to starter but no power to exciter...

if you have battery power on the large terminal at the starter and the same on the smaller wire when someone Is turning the key to start and the starter has a good ground then the starter is bad drawing too much amperage causing the clicking sound.

Engine dragging when starting now won't start at all

Most likely something to do with the starter or the wiring associated with it. (possible bad ground). Get it up on a lift and look at the wiring coming from the starter and tracing it to the harness. Make sure all insulation is in good shape, no exposed wiring. Check your grounds. The starter itself could have an issue also.

1997 Lexus SC300. 113,000 miles. Starter stays engaged and keeps cranking motor with ignition off and key out of ignition. Had to pull battery cable to disengage starter. When battery cable is reattached...

You most likely have a short in the wiring to the starter.

Last time I saw something like that a vehicle's exhaust headers created heat which eventually melted the wire's insulation and several of the wires were exposed and shorting on each other and the ground of the vehicle. If possible, get the car on a lift and inspect your starters wiring....

Hope this helps...

I just put in a new battery and alternator 12 days ago, today my escort 98 is powerless, no lights nothing, I also replaced the battery terminalsand the fuses are ok, what could it be, George

Check the wiring to your starter. you have 3 of them 1 is power from battery 2 ix the ground and number 3 is the one that goes to your dash power and without it nothing and I mean noyjing will work at all.

Can a bad ignition switch drain battery and prevent a 1994 Ford Escort from being jumped off and/or starting? Have replaced starter/battery terminal/relay switch. It still fails for start. Alternator is...

An ignition switch probably isn't the problem, because the vehicle probably wouldn't shut off if the switch were the problem. When you turn your car off the battery is not being drained any longer from the switch unless the vehicle is unable to shut down.
The other possibility that will definately cause a battery to lose juice while not running is a faulty starter sellinoid. When these sellinoid's, (may not be spelled correctly, sorry about that) are bad, the motor is turned off but the battery is still drawing current, but the engine is not running to allow the battery to recharge.
It could also be a bad battery. Check your battery cylinders by removing the plastic covering and checking the water level in the cells. Dry cells in a battery will not allow a jump.

No fire no fuel pump replaced both same results

ground for fuel pump relay is on the right side of fuse panel last small green relay on right ,two larger spade and two smaller ones check for feed on the smaller terminals and try earthing the other one.but if you have this problem them the chances are the immobliser has cut in.If no spark as well then its dealer only to resolve the problem as the ecu needs re-calibrating.normally the starter will not work either but its possible someone has rewired this at some time.

1993 Ford Escort

this is a common problem because the ignition switc gets ;oose and in the process could have grounded under the steering column so just repair the wires to the starter motor and instal the new ign switch and you may end up replacing the starter motor also
