Need to replace spark plugs - where are they located?
Please click this link to see detailed info on changing tuning up a Tracker 2.0.
There is a diagram about 1/2 way down that shows the spark plug placement, with removal instructions.

OK, if you are familiar with a spark plug wire, then follow it from the ignition down to the cylinder. The end of the wire has a "boot" that fits over the plug. The plug is "screwed" into the cylinder. You will have to use a spark plug socket to remove the plug--be careful to not allow any dirt to enter the hole to the cylinder once you have removed the plug.
Please try this link, and this link.
Also, if you have an auto parts store nearby, they would be happy to show you exactly where they are, as they would like to sell you parts!

Locate the spark plug wires in the Cherokee cylinder head. In the 4.0 liter engine, the spark plugs are below the coil rail assembly. On the 4.7 liter engine, the spark plugs are located under each corresponding engine coil.
