P0068 MAP/MAF is Throttle Position Correlation.In this error code:---
From the error code P0068 you have its indicating a bad throttle body or throttle actuator controller.. The 2 tps sensors inside read each other and if they differ for a few seconds or milliseconds then you get a this error code with reduced power. In some cases the new connector and wiring to the throttle actuator is required and in some cases getting the throttle body cleaned helps.---------------
And code P0496 - "Evaporative Emission System High Purge Flow".------------In this error the purge valve needs to be replaced.
The purge valve is mounted on the inlet manifold under the hood.Its on the top of the intake manifold, passenger side. Two hoses (one on each side) and a wire harness on the front of it. It has a red w/blue stripe and brown w/white stripe wire harness connected to it.Remove and replace this valve.-----------------This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
