Doesn't have a fuse for power seats . Use's a circuit breaker , 25 amp circuit breaker PWR SEAT located in rear fuse box . This rear fuse box is under the back seat . Did you look under the seat to see if something is blocking the seat tracks ? Does the vehicle have memory seats ?
Some BMWs have multiple interior fuse boxes including in the trunk - the video above ... If your 325i has many options like a sunroof, navigation, heated seats, etc, the ... to be replaced or if there is a short or some other problem with your 325i.
You don't say what series BMW you are asking about but as a general rule there is a fuse box close to the firewall on the drivers side. On some models there are fuses under the back seat, again on the left side of the car. For a lighter it is probably a green (30 amp) fuse. Also the owners manual provides the fuse box location. Good luck.
The power distribution box for the E-38 is in the engine compartment. and for the E-39 and E-53 is inside the vehicle inside the glove box above the hing panel and one in the cargo area under the flooring on the left side
Sounds like the fuse has blown. On these 5 series a single fuse controls both the steering colomn adjustment as well as the drivers seat adjustment.
In your glove box, either behind a panel or a drop down fuse fascia is fitted. The fuse your after is a 30a fuse in position 13. Normally a sheet with a labelled diagram will show you where fuse 13 is located. (Or just simply from left to right count 13 spaces!)
Auxiliary Cooling Fan Circuit Fuses Fuse 16 is 5 amps located in front power distribution box under hood, drivers side near rear of engine compartment.
Fuse 41 (ex. M44 w/man. trans) is 30 amp (probably not your car) in front power distribution box
Fuse 48 (M44 w/man. trans only) is 40 amp (The auxiliary fuse box in trunk for E36 is on the right side of trunk behind the trim panel.)
The main fuse box is located under the hood closer to the windshield on the drivers side. Another one with a smaller number of fuses is under the rear seat on driver's side.
